JI Course 108: THE FIVE CHRONIC PROBLEM PERSONALITIES

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY MINISTER WITH THE FIVE DIFFICULT PERSONALITIES OF THE LATER YEARS

You’ll learn that there are five “chronic problem” or difficult personalities that elders can lapse into when/if their developmental maturation process is unhealthy or dysfunctional. Even though only between 15 and 20% of all elders may adopt any one of these five “difficult” personalities, they can give you 95% of the problems that you will encounter. Learning how to deal with these difficult personalities will ease your mind and heart tremendously.

Students learn to work with and manage the most common types of "chronic problem" difficult personalities maturing adults:

  • DEPRESSED
  • ANXIOUS
  • DEPENDENT
  • DELUSIONAL
  • ANGRY
The final class (of *) is devoted entirely to realizing and incorporating spiritual development with elders with dementia.

Students learn the most effective care management skills with these difficult populations, and how to teach it to others in need.

This is a thoroughly comprehensive and practical course designed so that you and your staff can deal more effectively with the most common emotional problems of your elder members. Chronic problem difficult personalities elders are challenging, and yet we are still called to offer the best in spiritual and personal care that we can.
